A leading organization is seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) to join its Singapore office. This role focuses on maintaining, optimizing, and securing our database infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and compliance.
Responsibilities
You will manage and optimize MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, ensuring high availability, performance tuning, backup and recovery, replication, and secure access. Responsibilities also include managing upgrades with minimal downtime, conducting capacity planning, enforcing data governance and compliance, maintaining data quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business operations.
Requirements
A degree in Computer Science or a related field is required, along with at least 5 years of DBA experience. You should have strong hands-on expertise in MySQL and PostgreSQL, scripting skills (Python/Scala), and familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience in query optimization, data governance, and compliance frameworks is highly desirable.
