**Responsibilities**:

- Database Administration:

- Install, configure, and maintain MSSQL and Oracle database systems.
- Monitor database performance, ensure high availability, and implement necessary optimizations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
- Perform regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and security management.
- Implement and enforce data integrity and security protocols.
- Database Programming:

- Write and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
- Ensure database code adheres to best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in database design and schema development.
- Performance Tuning and Optimization:

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in database systems.
- Optimize SQL queries and database objects for improved efficiency.
- Implement indexing strategies and query optimization techniques.
- Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Generate reports on database performance and usage.
- Communicate database-related updates and issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Security and Compliance:

- Implement and enforce database security policies and access controls.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field with Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server (2012 and above), Oracle Administration and/or Development.
- Proven experience as a database administrator and programmer with a focus on Oracle and preferred on MSSQL.
- Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting languages.
- Strong understanding of database design principles.
- Preferably with Certifications in MSSQL and Oracle database administration and Experience with cloud-based database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database).
- Good knowledge on Database architecture & design
- Technical understanding of software builds and deployment together with relevant tools (i.e., PowerShell, Git, DevOps etc.).
- Knowledge on infrastructure components (i.e., Virtualization, Network, Load Balancers, SAN), and commercial cloud AWS.
- Experience supporting a 24x7 high-availability production systems will be advantageous.
- Software development experience (any programming language) will be advantageous.
- Good analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Have service excellence attitude.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team with mínimal supervision.
- Must have strong verbal and written communications skills to interact with team members and functional analysts on daily basis.
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
- Knowledge of database security and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. Effective communication and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with database migration and replication technologies.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools
