Database Administrator Job

Our organization is seeking an experienced and skilled Database Administrator to manage and maintain our Oracle database environments. This includes implementing and managing Oracle RAC environments, performing database installations, upgrades, and patches, as well as monitoring performance to ensure maximum efficiency.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collaborating with development teams to ensure efficient database design, implementing and maintaining database security measures, and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. You will also conduct regular security audits to implement best practices.

To succeed in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, minimum 5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA, and Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification. Proven experience implementing and managing Oracle RAC is essential.

In addition to your technical skills, you should be proficient in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, and Perl for automation. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, familiarity with database compliance standards, and experience with other database technologies such as MySQL and PostgreSQL are preferred.
