Global Head - Cloud Security Policy

This role has been designated as ‘Office’, which means you will primarily work from an HPE office.

The Global Head of Cloud Security Policy is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive cloud security policy that meets the needs of HPE's GreenLake Cloud Platform. This role will assess the current cloud security landscape and develop an effective framework for protecting cloud-based assets and data. This position will also collaborate with other IT and Cloud security teams to ensure that cloud security policies are applied and enforced across the enterprise.

**How You'll Make Your Mark**
- Directs and controls activities globally.
- Typically manages 10 or more direct reports. Span of Control guidelines may differ from these numbers.
- Manages a large team working on the policy development, definition, and control mapping
- Responsible for creating policies that can be converted to code with the help of working with cloud security automation engineers.
- Understand, document and define the best practices for the cloud security requirements definition, for policy development
- Manages and report on the metrics of the developed cloud security policies and ensure the Business Units adhere to the policy
- Responsible and own the cloud security policies and its lifecycle.
- Develop and implement cloud security policies and procedures, including access control, data protection and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Create, maintain and communicate security standards, guidelines and best practices for cloud environments
- Monitor cloud security trends, identify risks and vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate control measures
- Analyze cloud provider security posture and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other IT and security teams to ensure consistent cloud security practices
- Monitor cloud security policies and recommend corrective action
- Represent the organization in industry forums and conferences - Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends and technologies
- Provide guidance and advice to other teams on cloud security topics

**_ About You_**
- Bachelors degree required, preferably in computer science, engineering or related area of study
- Typically 5+ years of relevant experience
- 3+ years of experience leading people and teams
- Extensive experience in developing and implementing cloud security policies, procedures and standards
- Working knowledge of multiple cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
- Working knowledge of security frameworks
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
