The global Monetization Integrity team ensures TikTok users have a safe experience while viewing advertisements. They work closely with advertisers to create ad policies, manage content review processes, and more. As we continue to add advertising on TikTok, this team is critical in assuring a joyful and creative ads experience for the community.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage, mentor and develop a high performing team
- Provide thought leadership to the wider MI team, evangelizing cross-functional collaboration and owning a number of shared goals with partner teams
- Maintain Global Policy Frameworks and Policy implementation SOPs to ensure Policy Standardization Management
- Lead communication both internally and externally to ensure the good running of policy management workflows (Policy iteration, Policy version updates, etc.)
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Policy leaders, Sales, Product and Legal to develop new advertising and related policies (Brand Safety, Keyword/Search Ads, User Generated Content Based Ads, etc.) and enforcement criteria, workflows and associated materials
- Collaborate with the Global Operations team and other internal stakeholders to improve and maintain feedback loops from front end policy enforcement activities to policy design
- Identify gaps and problem areas in policies and propose revisions
- Provide thought Project Management Capability to the wider MI team, evangelizing cross-functional collaboration and owning a number of shared goals with partner teams.
- Solve issues with considerable autonomy
- Bachelors degree in policy, law or related fields
- 5+ years in Monetization Integrity or Business management leadership position in a top technology firm or equivalent
- Significant experience in policy, policy enforcement, specifically regarding media/content monetization or equivalent professional experience
- Demonstrable leadership experience; proven track record of building, leading a high performance team
- Previous experience working across multi-markets
- Passionate about the TikTok product
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
**Preferred qualifications**:
- Deep understanding of the digital landscape
- Experience in Product, R&D, data science, analysis, and other related fields
