Senior Program Manager

As an R/GA Senior Program Manager, you'll embark on an exciting journey as a production leader across diverse projects and accounts. You'll orchestrate every phase from start to finish, serving as the driving force behind seamless collaboration between clients and R/GA's exceptional minds. Leading and overseeing substantial work programs, you'll even be directly involved in managing our most intricate projects from concept to completion. Serving as the central liaison for program teams and clients, you'll establish program and project plans, budgets, and contracts. Your role involves tracking progress, overcoming hurdles for the team, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional work that aligns with strategy, meets deadlines, and adheres to budgetary constraints.

The Senior Program Manager is responsible for supervising a team that contributes to the portfolio of work. Beyond managing large-scale delivery, you will actively guide client relationships. This includes responsibilities such as fostering program growth, organizing staffing efforts, maintaining client satisfaction, prioritizing all deliverables, and guaranteeing that the quality of work aligns with agency standards and client objectives.

**The ideal person**
- 8+ years' experience as a senior producer/senior project manager or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Proficient in managing global/international clients.
- Fearlessly leads substantial projects and ensures their success.
- Highly skilled in delivering web and mobile experience, design, and development projects.
- Expert in agile delivery methodologies, with SCRUM certification.
- Familiar with essential project management tools: JIRA, Confluence, and modern tools like Smartsheet, Asana, Trello, Notion, Monday.
- Knowledgeable about technical development processes and workflows.
- Expert in handling and maintaining large and complex program of work.
- Defines and guides cross-team processes, fostering knowledge sharing.
- Independent project manager with no need for "on project" production oversight.
- Leads project retrospectives to enhance project and team processes.
- Experienced in creating detailed project scopes, timelines, and budgets.
- Skilled in crafting detailed Statements of Work, also reviewing SOWs for direct reports.
- Manages team planning, hiring projections, and requirements.
- Accomplished at overseeing interdisciplinary teams as large as 40 individuals.
- Proficient in managing/training mid-weight and senior Producers/Project Managers.
- Experienced in remote team collaboration across different time zones.
- Oversees program-level staffing capacity and collaborates on coverage with Talent Management.
- Leads recruitment of new junior team members.
- Possesses strong negotiation skills.
