- In alignment with global communication strategies, plan and execute corporate public relation (PR) programs in SEA, as well as cascade corporate PR messaging across regional business groups, to generate Tencent’s reputation awareness, through global and regional, trade and local media, and social media.
- Work with country communication teams and business leaders to identify opportunities for media outreach and media response, as well as to create content for corporate digital and social media channels to promote Tencent’s regional and local stories.
- Support reputation management by anticipating and identifying relevant risks to Tencent in the region, particularly in relation to its products and business. Help mitigate risks to Tencent’s reputation with crisis communications plans.
- Support global communication teams to review product PR content to assess alignment with Tencent’s narratives, minimize and prepare for potential risks to the corporate reputation. Include reviews, edits and approvals of comms and marketing assets, and social media contents.
- Support regional offices and HR team members in preparation of messaging and approaches for the execution of internal communications programs to inform and engage Tencent employees.
- Manage the regional content creation for Tencent-owned media channels and coordinate for relevant content sharing with business groups for awareness amplification
- Monitor and analyse related news coverage and social sentiment for insights and issue management using a combination of social listening and reporting tools.

**Qualifications**
- At least 3-5 years of experience in corporate PR and regional communication is essential, ideally with an understanding of the technology and internet industries
- A strong understanding of the SEA markets and its diversity. Experienced working with markets including Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and the Philippines is preferred.
- Able to offer sound advice on strategies to both promote and protect the Tencent brand considering of the regional dynamics
- Able to work under pressure and find solutions to multiple and varying needs.
- Willing to roll-up sleeves and get the work done
- Possess comprehension with analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Experience in editorial writing and PR content creation preferred. Multilingual is a plus.
- Experience blending traditional communications tactics with digital media also preferred
- Driven and resourceful individual with strong organisation skills, able to handle multiple stakeholders, projects and timelines
- Willing to travel (as necessary) to international locations with valid passport
