**What the role is**
- The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) champions the development of a future ready built environment for Singapore. Besides regulating building safety, we lead and transform the built environment sector in delivering a safe, high quality, sustainable and friendly built environment. We are looking for resourceful, energetic and self-motivated individuals who are inspired to play an active role to make a difference to Singapore’s built environment.
**What you will be working on**
- The department acts as the clients’ representative to manage a variety of projects. These include upgrading of public facilities in private residential estates under the Estates Upgrading Programme; building of workers’ dormitories and roads & infrastructure needed for the development of built environment industry facilities; and upkeeping the foreshore structures to protect the coastal land and amenities. The job scope covers the complete project cycle, including consultation and advising the clients and users, initial planning and consultation with authorities, preparation of tenders to appoint consultants/contractors, contract administration and management of the consultants and contractors. For Estates Upgrading Programme, the job scope includes working closely with grassroots leaders and representatives of the private estates. Your job scope covers the complete cycle of the projects under your charge.
