**Director - Digital Transformation PMO**
The Consumer Health organization is on a journey to become a Digital-First organization. The Digital Transformation Office is driving the overall Digital transformation, by building and deploying end-to-end digital solutions that solve unmet needs and generate value through a fully integrated digital ecosystem. Along the journey, this team is transforming underlying business processes, building sustainable support model, and driving adoption of digital tools that generate new value and improve employee, customer, and consumer experiences. Team members of the DTO demonstrate strong experience in supply chain, end to end thinking, digital acumen and ensure proper linkages to the digital strategies of partner functions (R&D, Commercial, Quality etc.).
The PMO and Portfolio Lead will play a critical role in the Consumer Health Digital Transformation. This individual will be directly responsible for the development and delivery of Digital Capability roadmaps that will transform our business, drive new ways of working, and deliver financial and business results. This individual sets the strategic vision for the delivery and PMO organization and ensures operational execution is delivered. This individual will develop high-functioning team and build a department to enable industry-leading Project & Program Management, with a focus on delivering value for our internal employees, customers, and consumers. This role will enable proactive communication with cross-functional leaders, strategists, and Digital Capability owners to ensure integration of project, company, and functional goals towards achieving program achievements.
This role will be responsible for managing multiple highly complex, global, strategic initiatives that shape the future state strategy for the Consumer Health organization and key value delivery initiatives across the enterprise. He/she will oversee the successful execution of various projects from initial resourcing, through discovery, execution, and realization of achievements and expected results. This individual will be accountable for appropriate resourcing, including talent identification and selection, new team member onboarding, and resource constraint management across initiatives. This individual will proactively identify program and technical risks, generate mitigation plans, and facilitate the closure of risks in collaboration with cross-functional teams. This individual will oversee the scrum and development teams, lead RAID reviews and “Scrum of Scrums” sessions. He/she will set project management and agile delivery standards and educate team members on Agile methodology and scrum best practices.
This role is responsible for driving our performance management and portfolio governance processes, ensuring the development and delivery of a robust annual business plan that is aligned with the needs of the Consumer Health businesses.
This individual will be a value-added leader within the DTO that provides leadership & development to PMO managers (full-time employees and contractors). He/she will continuously raise the bar on performance, technical depth, product management results, and people leadership skills. This role will build a strong team culture, instilling values of ownership and dedication to project and business plans. This individual will negotiate, assess tradeoffs, and resolve complex issues across various initiatives and projects.
**Responsibilities**:
- Drive overall achievement of digital capabilities and roadmap by orchestrating highly interdependent, cross-functional, and complex digital initiatives.
- Ensure successful delivery of end-to-end digital capabilities in partnership with digital product owners, J&J Technology, and cross-functional business users.
- Enforce adherence to timelines, resource plans, and schedules across multiple interdependent initiatives.
- Prepare and provide regular updates for leadership team on progress of overall program and associated initiatives.
- Serve as a coordinator and point of escalation for project managers and scrum teams.
- Proactively identify program and technical risks, generate mitigation plans, and facilitate the closure of risks in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
