About this team
The Payroll Specialist will be within the Operations Accounting function and responsible for supporting our fast-growing business attending to the needs of our employees.

**A day in the life**:

- Responsible for SEA payroll operations for local employees in Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia
- Perform full spectrum of payroll function and ensure monthly payroll process for new hires, terminations, salary changes, compensation and benefit payouts are executed promptly, accurately and in compliance with country statutory and regulatory requirements
- Close collaboration with our service providers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate salary payments to employees
- Prepare monthly reports and variable payroll data (e.g. retail bonus, OT allowance, salary adjustment) to service providers
- Review, validate and reconcile payroll output files from service providers to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Drive payroll calendar and ensure payroll inputs reach on time and ensure banking transactions are completed in accordance with deadlines
- Assist in year-end tax activities ensuring filings are done within statutory deadlines
- Liaise with People & Culture team and payroll vendors in relation to pension, social insurance and tax authorities
- Follow up with employees as necessary regarding to incomplete and/or inaccurate personal data
- Provide advisory and respond to employees’ queries on payroll matters in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain an up to date information on local labor laws and regulations compliance requirements
- Assist with payroll audits when needed
- Assists or provides required information on internal/external audits, including country regulatory audits
- Assist in other payroll related project as required

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years experiences in a similar role
- Advanced level of proficiency in English
- You have advanced knowledge of local labor laws and regulations throughout SEA, including Thailand and Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia would be an advantage
- Be knowledgable of using Time and Leave Management systems such as Ceridian Dayforce and Workday would be an advantage
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
- Professional and able to keep sensitive information completely confidential and organized
