**Position summary**
To prepare cost estimate, perform contracts management and to prepare tender submission in tandem with inquiry requirements from Clients for marine and offshore Newbuilding as assigned by Commercial Manager.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Receiving tender documents (i.e. enquiries) and review of the tender specification to prepare pricing into various segregated standard cost structure.
- Preparing and sending out of RFP/RFQ to equipment vendors and to arrange for technical clarification.
- Reviewing of equipment vendors’ quotation to meet tender requirements at a competitive pricing.
- Reviewing of equipment vendors’ quotation to meet tender or specification requirements with competitive pricing.
- Collate forex, material and labor costs for estimate build-up.
- Preparation of detailed cost sheet for review, approval and submission according to given timeline.
- Identifying the critical items/ systems and carry out risk assessment.
- Coordination and collation of all tender documents from various internal parties and ensure all to be in compliance according to tender requirements for on time & quality submission.
- Assist in putting up tender review and cash flow projection if required.
- Assist in contract discussions/negotiations if required.
- Contract Management of awarded projects such as budget monitoring and control, shifting, milestone invoices and required guarantees (if any) to Buyer etc.
- Interco contract Management with similar scope as per above.
- Generate post mortem reports for completed projects.
- At least 3 years’ experience in shipyard (shipbuilding & conversion) or 3 years’ experience with focus on commercial/marketing/project related in Shipbuilding & Offshore environment.
- Diploma/ Degree in Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering / Marine Engineering / Naval Architecture/ Electrical.
