**Position summary**

The role supports PaxOcean Singapore yard’s commercial operations across ship repairs and conversions.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Take charge of executing the commercial strategies to meet revenue and margin targets for ship repairs and conversions.
- Handle enquiries from customers and manage competitive quotations/tariffs for Singapore yard.
- Supervise team of estimators and commercial invoicing officers to ensure they discharge duties in accurate and timely manner.
- Follow-up the tenders with customers and agents and negotiating the Contracts/Projects.
- Handle client management at Singapore yard, as and when required and submitting reports.
- Work with the Yard Operations team to maintain optimal mix of vessel types/scopes of work to maximise yard utilisation.
- Ensure internal stakeholders adhere to and understand contractual obligations, and also determine when processes violate regulations.
- To be able to assess all risks and make recommendations based on analysis of factors affecting a business situation.
- Provide functional and management support in the management of Change, including negotiation and settlement of Change/Variation Orders with the clients.
- Review of existing company procedures and policies on commercial management and provide constructive feedback for refining/updating of the existing procedures.
- Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering field or Diploma with relevant substantial experience
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in commercial roles at a Shipyard, including estimation and invoicing.
- Team management experience
- Familiarity with Salesforce and/or Power BI
