Catering Sales Coordinator

Records all bookings in details in the reservation book and the standard reservation forms
- Reviews and updates all bookings in the 12-day forecast report and submit to the operation team before the weekly catering meeting
- Prepare memos for Goodwood Park Hotel’s in-house events (from Zhao Wei Film, internal departments’ training needs and meetings)
- Prepare proposals for weddings and corporate/non-corporate segments’ enquiries received within 24 hours (except for Sat/Sun enquiries - to churn out by Monday)
- Daily circulation of banquet event orders and amendments (twice a day)
- Assists and support the sales managers for their events’ requirements
- Handles ticket sales & reservations for special hotel promotions (i.e. Secertaries’ Week, Christmas parties, etc).
- Handles walk-in guests (when managers are not around) and last minute events from our in-house guests.
- Picks up the department hotlines and managers’ phone calls. Assist the guests accordingly with the package prices and/or requirements accordingly.
- Collates the findings on competitors’ survey once a month.
- Ensures that the wedding package brochures are always available at the front desk
- Assists to raise purchase orders (if required) for the department’s usage
