Job Description
**About the job**
We are looking for a strong individual contributor in Service Office HR team to business partner and drive the business & people agenda. With an overall focus to implement the HR direction and strategy for various functions within the Support Function (covering Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Sweden and Mexico).
**Your assignment**
In securing qualitative output on the highlighted key responsiblities below, you do so while creating an environemnt with people at the heart of everything you do, where IKEA values are a living reality and an atmosphere of knowledge sharing, high engagement and commitment:
- Implement people cycle activities (e.g performance evaluation & development plan, management & talent review process, salary review process, voice engagement etc.), for business units within the Service Office, in accordance to set strategies, guidelines and timeline.
- Partner with the Centre of Expertise teams (Performance & Rewards, Talent and Co-worker Experience) in ensuring set policies and framework are implemented effectively in the business
- Responsible for the business unit Headcount Plan, Staff Cost Budgeting, forecasting and follow up.
- Act as an advisor and be the “go to” HR person for business units.
- Lead and guide hiring Managers on recruitment process and related matter.
- Reinforce and strengthen the IKEA Values.
- Work with the functional managers and HR team to promote a working environment that creates high performance, satisfaction and commitment.
- While ensuring compliance to national labour legislations & regulations, to also anticipate business needs / market trends and constantly find ways of working.
Qualifications
**Your profile**
You have a strong interest for the home furnishing business and a proven Business Partner with at least 8 years of experience preferably in the retail industry or a fast-paced environment. You are a hands-on leader with an open, analytical and positive mindset.
With a natural ability to engage, influence, & strong communication skills, you are able to build rapport at all levels and bring out the best in our co-workers. A strong believer in IKEA values who embraces co-worker diversity.
With solid knowledge of the various labour market local laws and regulations, you are the trusted go-to advisor for your business units.
