**Job Functions & Summary**:
The Horticultural Executive is responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of the landscapes at SICC.

**Job Roles & Responsibilities**:
(1) Assist reporting officer in overseeing the horticulture operations and any assigned administrative/paper works.

(2) Conduct daily landscape inspections to ensure maintenance work meets the high standard of horticulture and arboriculture practices.

(3) Plan and implement landscape maintenance works and supervise the activities of in-house and/or term contractor horticultural workers.

(4) Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including other departments and different groups of term contractors, to ensure efficient horticulture operations and address any arising feedback promptly.

(5) Provide coaching and guidance to horticultural workers on best practices and proper techniques to achieve high quality and productivity of work.

(6) Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, and identify safety hazards to minimize risks, maintaining a safe working environment for all workers and members.

(7) Assess the condition of landscapes requiring improvement and develop plans for enhancement and rejuvenation.

(8) Prepare and generate reports, statistics and status updates for meetings, punch list and slide presentations.

(9) Assist in the drafting and preparation of tender documents, ensuring the specification and conditions are clear, detailed, and aligned with the Club’s requirements and policies.

(10) Assist in the monitoring of operating and capital expenditures to ensure spending remains within allocated the budget.

(11) Provide justification for work and purchase requests, and the prompt issuance of work and purchase orders, ensuring compliance with the policies and regulations established by the Finance and Purchasing departments.

(12) Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
