We are seeking a skilled Horticulture Manager to join our team. This role will involve overseeing the planning, design and maintenance of landscapes within our organisation.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the daily maintenance of landscapes including pruning, planting and irrigation system management;
  • Ensuring all landscapes are well-manicured and meet quality standards;

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong understanding of horticulture and landscape design principles, as well as project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Landscape Maintenance: assist in the daily maintenance of landscapes, ensuring they are well-manicured and meet quality standards;
  • Project Management: assist in the planning and execution of landscape projects, including design, installation and maintenance;
  • Horticulture Expertise: provide horticultural expertise and recommendations on plant selection, soil management and pest control;
  • Team Management: supervise and train landscape maintenance staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties;
  • Communication: communicate effectively with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma or degree in Horticulture, Landscape Management or a related field;
  • At least 2 years of experience in landscape management or a related field;
  • Strong knowledge of horticulture and landscape design principles;
  • Project management and team management skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
