Our subsidiary - Global Cultural Alliance Limited - are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Arts Administrator to join our team, with the flexibility to work either full-time or part-time. This entry-level position is perfect for fresh graduates from arts institutions who are eager to kickstart their careers in the arts and cultural sector. The Arts Administrator will provide essential support in the planning, coordination, and execution of GCA's artistic programmes and initiatives. Flexible work options are available to accommodate work-life balance.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Programme Support**: Assist in the planning and coordination of exhibitions, workshops, and events, including logistics, scheduling, and communication with artists and partners.
- **Administrative Duties**: Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, such as maintaining databases, handling correspondence, and preparing reports and documentation.
- **Budgeting and Finance**: Monitor budgets, process invoices, and support financial tracking for various projects and initiatives.
- **Marketing and Communications**: Assist in the promotion of GCA's activities, including updating social media channels, coordinating with designers for marketing materials, and managing event invitations and RSVPs.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Liaise with artists, curators, partners, and vendors to ensure smooth delivery of programmes and events.
- **Research and Development**: Conduct research on potential collaborators, funding opportunities, and industry trends to inform future projects and strategies.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- **Education**: A diploma or degree in Arts Management, Cultural Studies, or a related field, with a recent graduation from an arts institution being highly desirable.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in an administrative or project coordination role is beneficial but not required; training will be provided.
- **Skills**:
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools.
- A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience with social media management and basic marketing is an advantage.
