**About the opportunity**

This exciting role will contribute to The Hour Glass organic presence on social media. In addition to preparing and publishing engaging and inspiring content about us and the brands we distribute, you will be the voice of the company on social media and engage with our various online audience groups.

This role also offers a great overview of the watch industry and a unique avenue to experiment innovative social media strategies, develop content and learn while doing so.

**Your key responsibilities**

1) Social Account Management:

- Daily management of the company’s social accounts (Instagram, Facebook)
- Liaise with other departments to develop the monthly social calendar
- Cover local events, trainings and gatherings

Note: This position may require you to work on weekends or outside office hours to cover events.

2) Content:

- Write and create social media posts and support digital marketing colleagues to develop copy for social campaigns
- Research brands and watch-related topics to develop content
- Photography and videography for social media (wrist shots, behind the scenes, lifestyle)

3) Engagement and Community Management:

- Reply to comments and direct messages on the company’s social accounts
- Engage with followers, key content sharers and influencers
- Develop campaigns and strategies to increase engagement

4) Reporting and Social Media Monitoring:

- Regular reporting on engagement and community management
- Follow brands and watch communities on social media, be on top of the latest watch releases and innovative social media activities
- At least 1 previous experience in a similar capacity in a B2C branded environment or with an agency
- Applicants with strong social media credentials will be given priority. Please provide handles of social media accounts currently run
- Expert knowledge of social media and digital marketing tools, and use of analytics platforms
- Strong writing skills in English, pristine grammar and spelling skills
- Organized, able to multi-task, prioritize and work under tight deadlines
- Fast learner, interested in watches. It’s a bonus if you are already a watch geek
- Team player with good communication skills
- Positive attitude, you are passionate and infuse a positive energy to the team
- Strong attention to details and takes pride in a job well done
- Committed and reliable. You are aware of the high level of availability required to manage social media accounts
