Retail Design and Project Manager (Contract)

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a 6-month contract Retail Design and Project Manager to be based in Singapore. Your primary role is to lead merchandising activities within Travel Retail APAC focusing on Promotional and Permanent Merchandising. Markets covered within the scope: SEA, India, ad-hoc projects and Trade Show.

**Your main focus**:
Drive in-store retail excellence and grow share of space by expressing our global brands through quality merchandising in all channels.
Create breakthrough animations while maintaining global standards and brand guidelines.
Drive high quality execution befitting our luxury portfolio.

Temporary Animations & Permanent Counters (include refurbishments and new openings)
To project manage, execute, and work with multiple stake holders to ensure brand image, standards and qualities are met.
Work closely with marketing and commercial team to execute planned animations and permanent counters
Manage design and approval process with internal and external stakeholders
Manage and ensure forecast process
such as recommending order quantities for merchandising items from global offerings to accommodate planned animation and capex
Identify visual and POSMs deployment aligning with the launch guideline
Award design and act as liaison between contractors and retailers
Access and share guidelines and artwork for design and production vendors
Manage approval for material and finished samples from production suppliers
Solve any issues during design and production process
Conduct VM session prior to the opening to commercial team to ensure execution excellence
Visit installations and ensure guidelines and quality expectations are met
Create and distribute photographic records of all activities; including generating installation report and conduct post-mortem session when needed
Plan, manage budget and record accrued costing of all projects

The team consists of Visual Merchandising and Retail Design and Project Management professionals and you will work closely together with several departments such as Commercial, Marketing and Regional Teams. YOU ARE A COTY FIT

You like to make a difference. As an experienced Retail Design and Project Manager, you will share your valuable experience with the team and you get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you should also have the following requirements:
You will need to have strong project management skills with 5-8 years’ experience minimum and be able to simultaneously manage multiple projects across categories - fragrance, skincare and makeup.
Experience in perfume & cosmetics industry will be advantageous but not mandatory.
Ideally, you will have a design background in merchandising or interior design with knowledge of design software (Microsoft Office & Adobe Creative Clouds/AutoCAD).
You are proactive, think out of the box, have good interpersonal skills, embrace a can-do attitude, and believe in team spirit; enabling you to thrive and perform well in our dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
