The Director or Manager, Marketing Communications manages the marketing communications function to ensure that the brand image of the hotel is upheld and achieves maximum awareness for the hotel, through driving publicity and marketing to the target audiences. He or she is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of all the marketing strategies and activities including, digital marketing activities, managing external and internal communications etc and will report to the Hotel General Manager.
- To oversee the planning, development and implementation of all marketing strategies and activities of the Hotel and F&B programming, to uphold image and brand positioning within the marketplace and the general public.
- These include pre-opening and post-opening advertising, promotions, public relations, partner and channel marketing, loyalty marketing, campaign management, digital and new media development, social media engagement, F&B as well as events management.
- To manage the budget of the Hotel’s marketing, programmes. Monitor progress, ensure adherence and evaluate performance in order to meet financial objectives.
- To ensure the consistent communication of image and brand position throughout the Hotels, as well as within the marketplace and the general public.
- To develop key performance objectives to track, review and measure the success of the Hotel’s marketing, communications and public relations programmes.
- To review regular activity reports and ensure that targets and objectives are tracked and met.
- Engaging media for publicity and awareness for both Hotel and the Food and Beverage programming.
- To provide counsel to the Hotel General Manager on marketing, communications, and public relations, working in conjunction (where relevant) with the Singapore cluster marketing team and Corporate HQ brand and marketing department.
- Hosting of media, coordination of media itinerary, prepare media response, conduct sustainable hotel tours, maintain media relations, maintain media database, and develop newsworthy stories.
- Manage the hotel and F&B social media calendar, social media pages and develop daily/weekly content, as well as identify promotional offers that require boosting of ads. This would Include working with key stakeholders from the Singapore and HQ Corporate marketing teams.
- Website content creation and updates.
- Oversee filming and photoshoot activities throughout the property.

**Job Requirements**
- Minimum Degree in Marketing, Business Communications or related fields from a recognised tertiary institution
- Possess a minimum of five years of relevant and managerial experience in Marketing
- Communications related work in the hospitality industry
- Experience in hotel pre-opening is an advantage
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Good spoken and written English
- Strong interpersonal skills and willing to work independently and in teams
- Experienced in digital marketing, social media management and content development
- Experienced in F&B marketing with a good network within the Singapore market
- Experienced in managing third party agencies as well as working alongside corporate marketing teams
- Efficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrators will be an added advantage
