Senior Quality Assurance/control Engineer

Singapore ITS PRECISION & INDUSTRIAL PTE. LTD. Full time

Reaponsibility:

- Lead the quality control department in achieving quality objectives
- ensure all incoming / out going parts are inspected
- Verity the information on the product identification tag; PIT and the parts flow as per specified
- Ensure that all outgoing parts are recorded onto the "incoming/outgoing inspection record"
- Carry out non-confirming part review with sales or the director and decide on disposition of the parts concerned
- Feedback to supplier on non-conforming parts and monitor quality improvement on subsequent delivers
- Initiate corrective action to supplirt on serious quality issues
- Liaise with sales and ensure parts drawing are available for inspection
- Perform process capability stuides per customer's requipments
- Coordinate first article submission:

- Create new part drawing per sales. diector request
- First article report documentation (cum samples, if any)

Document control:

- All part drawing / quality documents are properly filed and maintained
- All parts drawing / quality documents are up-to-date
- Update and maintain the master list of document
- Issues of document
- Ensure document changes are recorded

Customer complaint;
- attend to customer complaints on quality
- prepare 'corrective action reply' to customer
- issue "quality alert" to file in part history record
- monitor eddectiveness of corrective action

Qualifications / Requirements
- Degree in Quality/Manufacturing/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- At least 8 years’ relevant experience in a similar position
- Good knowledge in Autocad, SAP, ISO auditing and statistical tools
- Experience working in an ISO 9001:2015 Quality System.
- Strong working knowledge of MS office platforms software (Excel, Words, PowerPoint).
- Proficient in the use of mechanical inspection equipment including calipers, micrometer, torque tester and other mechanical equipment.
- Strong sense of responsibility and result-oriented
- Good sense of quality, teamwork, and innovation
- Able to work independently
