**Job Purpose**:
The PR Section Leader is responsible for duties related to maintaining the overall Kumon Asia & Oceania (KAO)’s brand identity in the view of the public, including our Kumon students, instructors, and parents. The incumbent shall manage the Kumon brand, communicate key messages and facilitate digital campaigns to defined target audiences in order to establish brand and overall region’s goals set forth by the management.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- To coordinate and ensure the adherence to effective policies that help fulfill Kumon’s objectives, as well as maintaining the brand and its identity by all KAO Countries
- Formulate policies and procedures to ensure the Kumon brand is controlled within the scope of the general public, and safeguarding the brand consistency in all platforms related to advertising and promotions
- Using the knowledge in marketing and social media management tool to implement more effective online brand-focused content strategies for the region which supports Countries
- To analyse marketing data, trends and competitor data to determine strategies for success and provide the KAO PR teams with recommendations to enhance the brand, as well as reporting on the brand’s growth
- Crafting and distribute compelling content not limited to the following forms, e-newsletters, web page and blog content, or social media messages of regional content that helps to increase the understanding of Kumon brand and its offering to internal and external stakeholders
- Track SEO, SEM and web traffic metrics
- Manages annual budget for all Regional PR activities
- Stay on top of the latest digital and PR activities implementation’s best practices and strategies. Develop questionnaires and surveys to capture key data for effective measurement of return of investment. Examine PR activities and promotional campaigns’ return on investment in cooperation with regional and countries’ PR colleagues
- Communicate effectively to all stakeholders, including senior management
- Contribute to the success of the team’s work performance
- Supports the Division Leader to develop, nurture and lead the team to achieve KAO’s Goal
- Carry out all other tasks as directed by the Division Leader, Group Leader and management relevant to the role

**Knowledge & Skills Requirements**:

- Understanding of website traffic metrics and social media KPIs
- Knowledge of Social Media, Analytics, & Interpretation of data
- Knowledge of any Customer Relationship Management softwar
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledgeable in Content Creation, Copywriting
- Strong presentation skills
- Good knowledge of social media best practices
- Excellent multi-tasking
- Excellent problem-solving skills

**Credentials & Experience**:

- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Business or Marketing
- At least five years of experience in Public Relations, Communications or similar role in similar industry
- Familiar with Web Design and Strategy
- Strong Verbal and Written Communication & Presentation Skills
- Has keen attention to detail
- Self-motivated & independent
- Experience in leading a small team
- Experience in the education industry will be an added advantage
