**Responsibilities**:
1. Work independently for quality improvement projects on current formulations.

2. Conduct new and alternative source evaluations (for raw material and packaging materials).

3. Maintain clear and accurate records of formulations, source evaluations, procedures, observations and results.

4. Develop and manage formula qualification, related documentation for lab scale-up, and production scale up to pilot production for new product and new & alternative source.

5. Conduct stability testing and other required tests (such as but not limited to container-closure compatibility studies) and maintain the relevant data.

6. Conduct odour & sensory test for all related samples.

7. Maintain working knowledge of raw material innovations and emerging research in the medical field by proactively researching new concepts, materials, and processes.

8. Conduct routine laboratory housekeeping and day-to-day operations of the laboratory.

9. Maintain a working knowledge of regulations for active ingredient regulations.

10. Other quality and ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Pharmacy or equivalent with minimum 2 years’ relevant formulation experience.

2. Experience working in a laboratory environment in a pharmaceutical industry with cGMP knowledge.

3. Technical knowledge and experience on both lab scale-up and production scale-up to pilot production.

4. A Self-starter with exceptional organisation and attention to details.

5. Adaptable to changing tasks, assigned responsibilities, and priorities.
