Job Title: Regional Marketing & Procurement Officer — Singapore
As a Regional Marketing & Procurement Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting both marketing strategy and procurement operations across in Singapore and other countries, you will act as a liaison between regional marketing teams, internal stakeholders, and suppliers to drive cost‑effective sourcing and align procurement with strategic marketing objectives. You will ensure governance, manage category spend, and optimize supplier performance in categories such as media, creative production, marketing services, and promotional collateral.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement & Sourcing
- Lead end-to-end procurement activities: RFx preparation, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract management for marketing-related services and materials.
- Source regional suppliers and maintain a panel for media agencies, event vendors, printing/production, and digital content.
- Conduct cost/benefit analysis, benchmark pricing, achieve supplier consolidation, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and implement category-level procurement strategies tailored to marketing budgets and timelines.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, legal, finance, and compliance teams to align procurement with business goals and policies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to internal teams, guiding them on procurement best practices, governance, and vendor relationships.
- Contract & Vendor Management
- Negotiate contracts, monitor supplier performance, and ensure SLAs and compliance metrics are met.
- Maintain supplier records, manage renewals, track deliverables, and address non-conformance. - Analysis & Reporting
- Maintain dashboards or reports tracking spend, savings, supplier KPIs, and project delivery timelines.
- Identify procurement trends and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Marketing Support
- Collaborate with regional marketing teams to support campaign procurement for media, events, promotional giveaways, creative assets, and content providers.
- Advise on regional marketing budgets, vendor selection, and integration of procurement processes into campaign planning.
Job Requirements
- Education - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g. CPSM, ISM, CSCP) are a plus.
- Experience - Minimum 2 years in procurement or sourcing, preferably supporting marketing or creative services. Regional exposure across Southeast Asia or APAC is highly desirable.
- Procurement Skills - Experience leading RFx processes, vendor evaluation, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management. Familiarity with procurement tools/ERP (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, Smartsheet).
- Analytical & Financial Acumen - Strong ability to analyze spend, generate procurement insights, develop business cases, and execute cost optimization strategies. Familiarity with MS Office or BI tools like Power BI for reporting.
- Communication & Interpersonal - Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills across regional leaders and suppliers.
- Organizational & Project Skills - Capable of managing multiple procurement projects, timelines, and evolving marketing needs with output quality and compliance.
- Compliance & Ethics - Strong understanding of vendor governance, procurement policy, legal terms (e.g., Incoterms), and anti-bribery standards. Ability to liaise with legal/compliance teams as needed.
