**Job Description**:
**Primary Objective**
- To manage a portfolio of Retail and non-Retail non-performing loans (“NPL”) and formulating strategies for recovery action.
- To provide effective management information support for diligent monitoring of NPL accounts and in ensuring prompt follow up actions.
- To assist in periodic internal and regulatory reporting of NPLs in a timely manner.
- To assist in the administrative functions of Loan Recovery as assigned.

**Key Responsibilities**

To develop skillsets in recovery under the retail and non-retail NPL portfolio so as to achieve targeted recovery action to meet KPIs assigned.
- To manage the legal recovery actions by the Bank including but not limited to appointment of external legal counsels in the Bank’s panel, liaising with the legal firms, collating and maintaining the borrowers’ information from various credit files, checking the accuracy of borrower’s information/data produced by the legal firms and following up on subsequent legal actions until all legal avenues have been fully exhausted.
- To tackfully engage with customers who responded to our legal actions for loan recovery/collections.
- To coordinate with / assist fellow colleagues to engage borrowers who responded to the Bank’s legal demands for formulation of a restructured and rescheduling (R&R) plan to management and proper follow through in documentation/administration functions for implementation and monitoring that plans are diligently complied.
- To promptly and diligently file Proofs of Debt (“POD”) for borrowers bankrupted or under Debt Repayment Scheme.
- To assist in drafting report for write-off / write-down of borrowers’ accounts upon exhaustion of legal actions.
- To assist in proper filing and administration tasks within the Loan Recovery.
- To assist on all recovery and ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Head of Loan Recovery.

**Qualifications**:
**Requirements**:

- Degree Holder
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in loan recovery at a financial institution
- Strong communication skills
- Conversant with report preparation and excellent analytical and writing skills in formulating and recommending restructuring proposals.
- Strong IT skills including Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
