**Job's mission**

As a Lead Buyer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the uninterrupted supply of materials that power our advanced semiconductor equipment. You'll partner closely with global suppliers and internal teams to optimize inventory, close supply gaps, and strengthen procurement workflows. Your work will directly influence our ability to deliver on time, scale efficiently, and drive innovation at speed.

**What you will be working on**
- Lead direct material purchasing to support production schedules and customer commitments
- Monitor and manage supplier performance, ensuring on-time delivery and responsiveness
- Create and manage purchase orders (POs): issue, confirm, re-schedule, and cancel as needed
- Maintain strong supplier relationships through proactive communication and escalation
- Secure material continuity during production transfers and ramp-ups
- Expedite critical materials and close supply gaps to protect production plans
- Resolve invoice and goods receipt discrepancies with vendors
- Drive continuous improvements in purchasing processes and reporting
- Partner with cross-functional teams including planning, production, and project management
- Track and analyze supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD) metrics
- Implement and manage programs like Safety Stock and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)

**What we are looking for**
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management
- Minimum 8 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management
- Proficient in SAP and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled negotiator with solid analytical capabilities
- Self-starter with a sense of urgency and team-first mindset
- Willingness to travel if required
- Confident in managing complex material flows and high-mix manufacturing environments

**What sets you apart**
- APICS/CPIM certification or equivalent supply chain credential
- Experience in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with lean supply chain practices and VMI tools
