**_What you will do: _**

The Analyst of Responsible Materials & Traceability applies a data-driven approach, harnessing the power of material origin information for the betterment of people and our planet. This role helps VF, and its brands enhance supply chain transparency through the collection of verifiable data used to increase material and product traceability. This position is responsible for ensuring VF can trace product components to the various stages of the supply chain, including in many cases back to the material’s origin using third-party platforms such as Esri ArcGIS, and survey tools from LineVerge. With an eagerness and passion for understanding complex, global material supply chains, this position will support all functions of the traceability program, which incorporates responsible materials and manufacturing with transparency, product traceability and reporting. This work drives compliance to VF’s Material & Sourcing Policies, certification requirements and global laws and regulations.

**Supply Chain Transparency Mapping**:this role will implement and verify a framework to trace product components to various stages of the global supply chain using tools such as LineVerge and Esri.

**Regulatory Compliance**:this role will work alongside a team of professionals to understand global regulatory requirements such as sanctions, Withhold Release Orders (WROs), and import restrictions that may impact our business. This role will implement a framework to substantiate VF’s compliance to these regulatory requirements and provide upstream visibility needed to drive responsible supply chain sourcing decisions and partnerships.

**Responsible Materials & Manufacturing**:Responsible for mapping key materials and manufacturing components in the VF supply chain. This individual will track and maintain documentation on VF’s key material flows, manufacturing locations, and country of origin data for certain high-impact materials such as cotton, leather, rubber, etc. and will continuously monitor and report program status to key internal stakeholders.

**Data Collection & Management**:collect and manages data on responsible materials, manufacturing, and product traceability. This data collection work is done in partnership with other Internal stakeholders to accurately determine the footprint of materials used by VF, by volumes and countries. This individual will communicate the data internally and make it available for external reporting.

**Substantiation of Public Claims**:This role will monitor origins of each material where VF has made a policy or product claim and provide verification when needed. Key materials include, but are not limited to, cotton, leather, metals, wool, down, and rubber. Substantiation efforts include executing supply chain policies, monitoring due diligence processes, providing data for public stakeholder statements, and reporting. Will also support the management of various certifications, to ensure compliance with standards such as RDS, RWS, GRS, etc.

**_How you will do it: _**The Responsible Material and Traceability Analyst will complete tasks in close partnership with key internal stakeholders, including members of our Sourcing, Global Material Supply, Legal, and Sustainability teams. Developing strong working relationships and establishing trust with internal teams will be critical to achieving results in this role. This individual will develop an in depth understanding of material supply chains that will be critical to achieving both individual and team goals.

**_What success looks like: _**This role will be integral to VF achieving its traceability goals and remaining in compliance with new and developing legal import requirements. For the Responsible Materials and Traceability Analyst, success will be evaluated by upholding commitments, meeting objectives, and delivering results. **Skills for Success**

Years of related professional experience: 1-3 years in material procurement, traceability and/or sustainability. Fresh graduates will also be considered.
