DESIGNATION : Yong Pung How Research Fellow (2-year contract), CCLA
RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position is for Centre for Commercial Law in Asia (CCLA).
- The Fellow must be in residence at SMU throughout the term of his or her appointment;
- Conduct research with a well-defined research agenda during the term of the appointment (60% of the Fellow’s portfolio) in order to secure a faculty position at a reputable Law School.It is expected that the Fellow will publish research papers in reputable refereed journals during his or her term of the appointment and give at least one Research Seminar at SMU annually;
QUALIFICATIONS
- Doctorate degree in law.
- Possess research experience in dispute resolution and/or private international law with a demonstrated record of research output in the form of refereed journal articles or conference papers.
- An interest in research in the Asian context is an advantage but not mandatory.
- The applicant must be of exceptional calibre, having attained a doctoral degree in law, which must have been successfully completed and examined during the period of 1 January 2021 to present.
