**About the Department**:
Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

**Responsibilities**:

- The Banking Operations Policy and Advisory team plays a lead role in the risk and controls policy setting of Banking Operations for major products and services across the Group.
- Formulate uniform baseline controls operating standards and harmonise policy and/or regulatory requirements with other lines of defence and establish guidance.
- Maintain, develop new or enhance existing policies and guidelines to ensure appropriateness and adequacy against industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and advisory on banking operations policies and guidelines across subsidiaries and Business/Support units stakeholders.
- Track and monitor and ensure proper closures on policy deviation / issues identified.
- Develop and implement group-wide Banking Operations awareness program and training for education and awareness.
- Participate in providing advice for projects or undertake any other ad-hoc projects assigned.
- Keep abreast of new / development to regional regulations & laws, emerging risk trend/focus and policies impacting the Group.

**Job Requirements**:

- Skills and Experience- At least 10 years of relevant experience in Risk Governance and Management, Compliance, Financial Control, Product Control, or Operations functions of a financial services institution.
- Familiar with Banking Operations controls and Banking Regulations.
- Self-motivated and independent with high-level of integrity and resourcefulness creative, well organised and detail oriented, able to work under pressure.
- Able to multi-task, dedicated, dependable, strong leader and a good team player
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Education- Minimum a recognised degree in relevant field.
