The Global Sports Content team is the vertical that aligns the Strategy, Business Development, Partner Management, and Program Management functions to articulate and execute TikTok's Global Sports strategy with the operational assistance of local teams in all markets. The Partner Manager is someone who enjoys building relationships with publishers, creators, and athletes who are globally relevant. The role will require engagement with local TikTok teams in a number of markets to ensure optimal outcomes for all parties involved. At its core, this is an operational role that requires great interpersonal skills, strong coordination, and an ability to anticipate partner needs.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee and organize partner management efforts with identified global sports leagues, publishers, creators and athletes on TikTok, in lock step with local partner managers in Sports;
- Provide a global layer of relationship management to complement high touch engagement with a partner at a local market level. Connect the dots across numerous markets and regions to provide partners with a unified view of their TikTok experience;
- Support the Global Sports Business Development team as they negotiate and execute partner agreements to unlock differentiated outcomes through partnerships;
- Increase partner content quality, platform engagement, and audience growth, as well as analyzing individual and overall creator performance;
- Solicit, organize, and contextualize product feedback from creators and support with data;
- Represent TikTok as best in class in the content creator space, building our reputation as great partners in Sports.
**Qualifications**:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5-7+ years of work experience in an external facing partner role or creator facing experience in TV/media or Internet, working with talent and content creators
- Deep understanding of the publisher and creator of the online video landscape.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, and the ability to serve as a spokesperson for TikTok
- Willing to travel to visit partners, attend events, etc.
- Team player, strong people skills, and ability to engage on all levels of the organization. Must embrace that team wins are the goal and not personal accolades.
- Proven track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, strong attention to detail, and managing multiple projects simultaneously
