As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading your project management team in the delivery of Data Centre Projects from their inception to completion. Initially your Team will work closely with the Technical Solutions team to manage the development of the Design, and, with the Procurement team for the LLE & Tendering of Contracts. You will then lead your Team in overseeing the construction and commissioning of the project. Work closely with the Authorities, Consultants, Contractors and Suppliers and seamlessly work with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the project is completed Safely, to the right Quality, On Time and within Budget. Once the project is commissioned, you will then lead the handover of the project to our Operations Team and end user/Tenant.

Note that you will be based in Singapore but may be required to travel overseas for work if you are tasked to assist on an overseas project.

Job Responsibilities:

- Lead the delivery of projects and be responsible for project performance
- Lead and execute the technical qualification and planning of pre-deals as the Head of Department shall direct. Lead and manage Project Managers and Engineers to generate project cost and planning structure for prospective deal engagements
- Lead and execute the approved projects’ quotation and/or tendering process for the various packages such as project consultancy, contractors, nominated sub-contractors, vendors, suppliers, etc in accordance with the approved procurement process
- Lead and execute the approved project plans and manage Project Managers, Engineers, Site Supervisors and appointed consultants, contractors, suppliers and vendors to ensure general supervision of the project work and the management of site implementation and all project related matters
- Organize and conduct regular separate and/or combined meetings with Clients, Asset Owners, appointed consultant, contractors, vendors, etc to address all project related matters including but not limited to:

- Site project management and the tracking of progress of the project against the approved schedule
- Cost reports including cash-flow forecasts of project expenditures, monitoring spending of cost against approved budget, forecast project expenditures, etc.
- Tracking and evaluation of Contractor Claims, Variations, Delay, EoT and Delay Damages
- Statutory Authorities matters
- Lead and manage inspection of the Project Works at site together with the site team and report to Project Director and Head of Project Management promptly on any non-compliance and status updates
- Work closely with the Safety Manager to ensure all construction safety requirements are met and strictly adhere to
- Work closely with Client, Asset Owner and Operation team on any technical issues arising from site and execute the Project Handover timely to Client, Asset Owner and Operation team respectively
- Manage and execute other duties and responsibilities from time to time that are assigned by the Head of Project Management

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Civil or structural engineering, Construction management, Business or contract management, Building studies, Quantity surveying or similar
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the Project Management of mission critical facilities
- Experience in managing Data Centre Greenfield Construction is ideal but experience in the construction of pharma/ microelectronics projects is also highly desirable
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Clear understanding of commercial & financial processes (Invoicing, approvals etc)
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Very good Administration skills
- Be thorough and pay attention to detail
- Able to work well with others and have good customer service skills
- Able to use your initiative, flexible and open to change
- Strong time management & work well under pressure
