**Job Summary**
As the Lead, Instructional Designer, the job holder is to **_oversee the design, development, and implementation of innovative and effective learning solutions. _**This role combines **_deep instructional design expertise _**with the **_ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex learning and development projects _**from **_initiation to execution.

**Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities**
**Instructional Design**:
- **_Design and develop of eLearning content _**that consist of an assortment of media types such as video, animation and other instructional technologies.
- **_Develop, conceptualise and edit storyboard that will be translated into finished interactive content. _**
- **_Develop instructional materials, manuals, aide memoire and learning resources. _**
- **_Develop and design the courseware by incorporating technology and relevant learning pedagogies for effective learning _**.
- **_Develop assessment criteria, tests, assignments and examination. _**
- **_Work with Project Manager (PM) _**to define project scope (level of interactivity, objective, timeline and etc.).
- **_Support the Project Manager (PM) with accounting, consolidation and signing off of all work done. _**
- **_Work with Content Developer (CD) team to design and develop engaging interactive courseware for adult learning. _**
- **_Perform courseware testing and evaluate courseware based on the approved storyboard.
- **
**Project Management**:
- **_Manage end-to-end learning and development projects, ensuring timely delivery, scope alignment, and stakeholder satisfaction. _**
- **_Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations. _**
- **_Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors to deliver high-quality training programs. _**
- **_Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, resolve issues, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- **
**Leadership & Collaboration**:
- **_Mentor junior instructional designers _**and **_contribute to team development _**.
- **_Champion learning innovation and the use of new tools, platforms, and methodologies. _**
- **_Serve as the primary point of contact for large-scale training initiatives _**across departments.
**Job Specifications**
**EDUCATION**
Degree in any discipline. Preference is given to degree in instructional design, education, psychology, instructional technology or related qualifications. Post-graduate qualification in Education or Instructional Design will be an advantage. PMP, PMI-ACP, or other project management certification is a strong plus.
**EXPERIENCE**
**_Minimum 5 years of experience in instructional design and/or training _**and **_minimum 2 years in a lead or senior role.

**SKILLS**
- **_Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies. _**
- **_Proven ability to develop clear, concise, and engaging storyboards using a variety of techniques. _**
- **_Excellent visual design sense and the ability to translate complex information into visuals. _**
- **_Good knowledge on authoring tools, usability and functionality testing methods _**, as well as **_course and learner evaluation methodology. _**Experience with _Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate 360, Microsoft Office _is preferred.
- **_Excellent written and verbal communication skills _**_. _
- **_Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills. _**
- **_Detail-oriented _**with strong organizational skills.
- **_Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. _**
- Proactive and able to work as a team.
