**Responsibilities**:
Manages/Coordinates internal resources in response to requests for Cargo and Vehicle Inspection (CVI) proposals. Lead the creation of the solution and develop win strategies while complying with customer requirements. Oversee all aspects of proposal preparation, ensuring quality, and compelling, bids are submitted on time.

Primary role is to function as the internal Bid Manager for CVI bids:

- Central point of contact for large cargo vehicle inspection bids from all sales territories and US Government (including contract research and development)
- Review all customer requirements
- Work with sales on strategy to win bids and increase revenue
- Project Manager for the Bid and Proposal (B&P) team from receipt of request through submission to customer.
- Coordinate all internal resources in support of response. Product Management, Technical Sales, Sales Operations, Contracts, etc.
- Build financial model and work with finance on final approval.
- Develop new content for proposals as relates to new products and/or features.
- Responsible for commercial and technical volumes.
- Organize and track all requests and responses using company databases.
- Ability to mange to tight deadlines
- Fast-paced environment; requires significant use of telephone and computer.
- Must be able to complete job responsibilities working with different time zone needs such as attending late night/early morning meetings by phone and/or web to meet business needs; 15%

Additional Responsibilities
- Support AS9100 Auditing through a thorough understanding of all AS9100 related and Departemental procedures
- Develop and manage initiatives for process improvement, such as proposal templates and or content.
- Understand status of performance to metrics and provide feedback on improvements in performance to standards and methods for improving efficiency
- Continuous learning in commercial and technical understanding of products

Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree

Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of practical experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Understanding of basic contract language
- Proven leadership and management experience
- Experience interacting with executive level staff
- Foreign Language proficiency a plus
- Domestic and/or International travel required 10% Must travel internationally and be able to acquire all necessary travel documents

- Be capable of explaining technical procedures in writing or verbally

- Computer with Internet and Network Access
- All applicable AS9100 and Departmental Sales Processes and applicable corporate processes
