Overview
The Assistant Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in managing our fraud and scams educational campaigns.
A specialist digital-first and customer-centric marketer that will work on the marketing and communications strategy for our monthly, always-on fraud educational initiatives
Oversee the agile activation of client crisis communications as and when needed to protect our reputation and manage customers and public sentiment, especially on Citi’s social media pages.
The person will be part of a high performing team that oversees channel optimization, customer retention and demand generation to deepen customer engagement and build loyalty.
The person will partner with fraud, legal and compliance, corporate communications, digital banking and decision management team to ensure seamless communications of fraud educational messages
Project manage the bank-wide client communications refresh, managing across 10 business lines with a content, channel and customer journey review of over 750 variations of communications pieces
Oversee monthly prioritizations and onboarding of marketing campaigns on our citi online, ATM, and media walls, working with the cards, loans and retail banking marketing managers and their product managers for timely activations
Requires good project management and analytical skills to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are required.
Other bank-wide client communications projects as assigned from time to time, including awards promotions and seasonal content-led campaigns.
Job Responsibilities
Design and produce marketing and advertising materials, both print and electronic. Target audiences include customers, prospects, and employees.
Develop and execute marketing communications programs addressed to customers and internal audiences.
Work closely with the digital marketing, direct marketing, branch marketing and client management teams to maximize marketing opportunities.
Collaborate with outside agencies and key internal stakeholders to develop marketing materials and collateral.
Manage external agencies regarding campaign requirements, creative specifications, artwork and artwork preparation, schedules, and delivery dates.
Maintain brand standards and ensure consistent use of name, logo, and brand attributes.
Ensure the message and tone of all communications is consistent with brand standards.
Maintain creative library and approval documentation.
Participate in the research and identifying of new potential products and new industries.
**Qualifications**:
Experience in program and project management.
Familiar with client crisis communications activations
3-5 years’ experience
Proven analytical and process management skills
Solid organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at one time
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with ability to interact appropriately with people across different functions and multiple levels across organization
Excellent digital marketing competence across search, display, paid media, and measurement.
Curious about human psychology, behaviours, and motivations.
Strong communications skills and analytical thinking.
Collaborative and willingness to learn, try new ways of doing things more efficiently
Ability to influence and ability to work cross functions
