Sr Manager, Dei Comms, Strategy, and Engagement

Guided by DEI functional objectives, the DEI Program Manager for Communication, Strategy and Engagement works with the DEI Leadership Team, Global Communication and Marketing, Government Affairs, the Micron Foundation and DEI commitment owners to establish global plans and objectives that help internal and external stakeholders understand the organization’s DEI goals and reporting obligations and how Micron’s work, mission and vision connect to these priorities. This role also:
- Consults with stakeholders to ensure the DEI communication framework and messages align with DEI, People and business strategy, demonstrating an integration that reflects these initiatives are core to business processes and policies
- Serves as a resource for our external alliances
- Supports board of director initiatives, including DEI reports, to full board and audit committees
- Partners with the DEI data analyst, the People analytics team and other data teams as necessary to measure and report progress on the advancement of DEI initiatives
- Manages internal and external partners to deliver on project and plan tasks
Also in this role, you will support efforts to:
- Assess the current landscape of DEI messages
- Define the organization’s DEI narrative
- Align Micron team members and leaders to DEI priorities
- Report progress of DEI goals to internal and external audiences, such as articulating how DEI initiatives impact business results
- Monitor the DEI communication plan against success measures
**Requirements**:
- Active listening, writing, verbal and interpersonal skills required
- Proven experience managing projects in a matrix organization
- Demonstrate Micron values of collaboration, tenacity, people, customer focus and innovation
- 5+ years managing corporate initiatives with a background in DEI a plus
