**Editorial Director, Asia Pacific**

As travel returns in Asia Pacific, Ink is looking for an **Editorial Director **based in Singapore to oversee creative for our exciting portfolio of travel brands and partners.

- Oversee editorial strategy and execution across digital and print media
- Commission stories, edit copy and get involved in all aspects of the creative process
- Hire, train, manage and inspire editors in different markets
- Coordinate with designers, photographers and other creative talent
- Work closely with the sales teams to ensure products deliver for our advertisers as well as our travel partners
- Take a very hands-on role managing our clients, including agreeing editorial line-ups, sharing content for approval and working on special projects
- Build out those client relationships to expand and renew our partnerships
- Provide strong creative concepts for new business pitches
- Launch new products and platforms
- Manage creative costs
- Build and maintain a strong freelance creative talent pool
- Serve as an ambassador for both Ink and all the clients we represent
- Set the tone for the office with a constructive, collaborative approach to work and a positive attitude to ensure the team are happy, motivated and driven to succeed

While the role has some clearly defined responsibilities, we are looking for someone who wants to make it their own and not settle for the status quo. We are, for now, a small team and we want everyone to challenge the limits of their job description.

1. At least 7-8 years in editorial roles (including at least some of those in Asia Pacific and in travel and/or lifestyle)

2. Experience with both print and digital media - and a good understanding of social

3. Experience managing teams

4. An impeccable command of written and spoken English - and confidence writing, editing, proof-reading

5. Knowledge and understanding of travel/destinations in a variety of APAC markets

6. Strong time management and multi-tasking skills

7. An ability to work under pressure

8. Strong social and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders

9. Knowledge of content trends, and tailoring them to magazine/platform voice

10. Ability to develop exciting, engaging content concepts to brief

11. A real passion for travel
