As a Management Executive officer with the Corporate Communications Directorate, you will play an instrumental role in delivering effective internal and public comms content to communicate key MHA initiatives as well as to project the Home Team brand to inspire trust and confidence among Home Team officers and the public.

**What you will be working on**
- Job scope:

- Editorial, writing and administrative duties for public and internal comms platforms (Home Team News, Home Team News Bytes, Home Team News on Telegram, Intranet).
- Planning of monthly editorial team deployments; oversight of the Home Team News editorial calendar.
- Ensure that the editorial team’s deliverables are topical, informative, relevant, engaging and of the necessary standard.
- Content lead duties for key MHA workstreams and announcements.
- Supervision, guidance and administration for NSFs and interns.

Key deliverables:

- Engaging content (includes writing, photography and editing) to profile the work of the Home Team.
- Content for weekly Home Team News Bytes that is accurate, timely and engaging.
- Digital content for MHA policy announcements that is engaging and communicates key messages effectively to members of the public.

**What we are looking for**
- Strong editorial, writing, creative and presentation skills.
- Good understanding of comms-related issues.
- Strong networking skills; able to maintain good working relationships with stakeholders (which include Home Team Departments, MHQ divisions and other agencies).
- Keen interest in developments related to editorial content and marcomms (including social media and analytics tools).
- Strong inter-personal and project management skills; able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment, as well as handle tasks that require quick turnaround.
