This is an open job posting for Skin Cleansing & Oral Care Assistant Category Strategy & Innovation Manager, based in Singapore. The role will report to the Category Strategy Manager.
**What will this role do?**
- This is a high visibility position, working with and learning from the EVP and other GCLT members
- enabling excellent opportunity to build category fundamentals, develop strategic credence and leadership fundamentals.
- The Cat Strat team is the expression of the culture of the category, so strong personal mastery with passion for the driving culture is crucial. Strong interpersonal skills required to build and leverage relationships within the business.
- The role encompasses multiple different aspects and the incumbent needs to constantly juggle between assisting in developing strategic vision to operational development, strong governance aspects - requiring high level of agility, attention to detail and shift in mindset
- A great eye for detail, skill in assisting in creating strategic, busines documents, high degree of self-regulation and ability to see through trends and patterns are important skill sets.
- Assist in the development of long term innovation strategies for the entire category by looking at external trends and working with cross functions
- Assist in developing consumer centric innovations that tap into the latest market trends in D&E markets
- Must manage changing priorities and short turnaround times to meet weekly deadlines for big workstreams; be able to anticipate changes while meeting deadlines.

**What are the Key Challenges?**
- The role is in a team which requires delivering through others which is harder than delivering yourself
- Need to be able to manage conflicting priorities and requests from multiple stakeholders - in different time zones, functions, and often with different priorities.
**Who can do this role?**:

- People who have worked in global or local marketing with a deep knowledge of Unilever’s ways of working in categories
- Having had experience in mix creation or P&L/business case development will be an added advantage
