Job Description:

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the global category direction for CAPEX & MRO procurement. This involves sourcing and defining strategies to drive business growth, while ensuring optimal capital investments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a global category sourcing plan, inclusive of supplier management, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing a global category strategy that aligns with business objectives
  • Managing global suppliers and contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Negotiating and concluding contracts that meet business needs and minimize risks
  • Monitoring and reporting on supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed

In addition to these core responsibilities, you will also be expected to:

  • Contribute to the development of strategic plans and initiatives that drive business growth and profitability
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of global category initiatives
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to internal customers on matters related to category management
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies that impact category management

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of skills, knowledge, and experience. Specifically, we are looking for individuals who have:

  • Strategic flair and collaborative mindset
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in procurement, relationship management, project management, or engineering
  • Proven track record of managing complex categories and negotiating high-value contracts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
