**Senior Associate**:

This is a temporary position to cover staff on maternity leave. The person reports to Deputy Director (ISTD) and is part of the faculty administration team to support ISTD faculty in the areas of claim submissions, procurement, overseas travel arrangement, visiting researcher/student arrangement, and provide general administrative duties to ISTD that include event support and office admin operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Coordinate visits, conferences and events for the faculty and visiting faculty, including logistics and the necessary communications
- Assist with travel arrangement, hotel accommodation and procurement matters for the faculty and staff, such as raising electronic Purchase Requests and performing Goods Receipt
- Provide general administrative support, including faculty’s reimbursement for travel and expenditure claims, booking of campus facilities, requests for seating arrangement and air-conditioning etc.
- Provide administration and logistics support for student events and pillar activities
- Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Reporting Officer

Qualifications:

- Recognised Degree or Diploma with minimum three years of related working experience
- IT savvy and have good knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes especially Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to solve problems effectively are important
- Resourceful and be able to gather information independently and pro-actively
- Team player with a service-oriented personality
