What you will be doing

We have an opportunity to join the Underwriting department as an Underwriting Executive at our Singapore office. In this exciting role, you’ll be responsible for acting as the authorised agent of NorthStandard Limited and assisting in the provision of a quality underwriting service to Policyholders or brokers. All assistance to be provided in line with Department procedures and guidelines.

**Your main duties will include**:
Compliance with Underwriting Dept Guidelines & Procedures
- Dealing with:

- New Enquiries
- Amendments to Policies
- Cancellations of Cover
- Renewals of Existing Members
- Sanctions Checks
- Document production
- Mortgagee Requirements
- Maintenance of CRM database
- Reports as required

Your profile

**Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience**
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).
- IT Literate with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
- Efficient & effective administration skills, demonstrating an attention to detail concerning work produced.
- Educated to an A-level standard or University standard.
- Good planning and organisational skills with the ability to cope with demanding workload
- Ability to work as part of a team whilst taking responsibility for your own workload.
- Effective communicator both internally and externally.

**Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Experience**
- Experience working within the insurance sector.
- Commitment to gaining further professional or industry qualifications if necessary.
