that meet the needs of our intermediaries and our mutual customers. We want to underwrite a

balanced portfolio of insurance risks that allow us to achieve a profit that is commensurate to our

risk appetite and the available risk capital. Within this setting, we want to grow the portfolio and

achieve a size that enables the Company to be competitive in the long-term.

We are seeking highly-motivated individuals with professional experience to join our team as
**Executive or Senior Executive, Underwriting**.

**Requirements**:
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following experience, knowledge and skills:

- A diploma or degree in any discipline from a good institute or ACII or FCII.
- More than 5 years of working experience in the insurance industry in Singapore as an

Underwriter and/or a Broker
- Underwriting technical knowledge in various lines of business
- Good relationship with producers (agents and local brokers)
- Strong business acumen to understand economic and business models and good

understanding of local developments.
**Job description**

The successful applicant will:

- Underwrite all lines of business within delegated Underwriting authority
- Support production of profitable business from brokers, agents and direct clients with focus

on Annual renewable accounts
- Review monthly renewal business for pricing adequacy and claims cases for optimised

portfolio and profitability
- Service allocated producers (brokers and financial advisors) to provide them with

underwriting queries support and for quotations
- Any other duties from time to time assigned by Management or CUO
