**How you succeed**

You'll work closely with the research team to analyze market data, create research reports, and present findings to clients and stakeholders. **What you do**

Your responsibilities will include:

- Data Mining and Analysis: assist the Macro Research team in collecting and analyzing data on financial markets, macroeconomic trends, and industry news
- Research and Analysis: conduct research on financial markets, macroeconomic trends, and industry news, and create financial models, charts, and other visual aids to support the team's research
- Market Monitoring: monitor and track key economic indicators and market trends, and provide insights to the research team
- Report Preparation: assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other deliverables for clients and senior management
- Collaboration: work closely with other teams within the organization to ensure timely and accurate delivery of information
- Team Contributions: participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on research findings and opportunities

**Who you are**
- Strong interest in financial markets, macroeconomics, and global affairs
- Excellent research and analytical skills with a keen eye for details
- Good interpersonal and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Programming skills (optional but advantageous)
- Currently pursuing a degree in finance, economics, or a related field

**Learning Objectives**

This internship will provide you with:

- Hands-on experience in macroeconomic research and financial markets
- Exposure to the inner workings of the bank's macro research function
- Development of research and analysis skills, including financial modeling and data analysis
- Opportunity to work with experienced research analysts and build relationships with stakeholders
- Practical experience in creating research reports and presenting findings to clients and stakeholders
- Training on financial platforms and databases such as Bloomberg, Eikon, and CEIC
