The Cloudera Sales Team helps customers to unlock the power of any data, running on any cloud, from the Edge to AI, on a 100 percent open-source platform with an enterprise data cloud that’s multi-cloud and hybrid cloud, with the flexibility to perform machine learning and analytics with your data, your way, with no lock-in. You Will:
- Drive success via the sale and delivery of Streaming based solutions across customers. Focus will be on streaming tools such as Nifi, data processing at the edge, real time analytics with Flink, Kafka message brokerage with related management suite, and supporting hybrid infrastructure in the cloud and on-prem based on latest technologies such as Kubernetes. The Cloudera streaming platform will be positioned relative to the broader ecosystem of tools including the Cloudera Data Platform, but also complimentary industry recognised platforms such as Snowflake, Oracle, etc...- Report directly to a VP of Sales and own your account relationships and integrate them with Regional Sales Directors.- Attack white space accounts and drive net new revenue in commercial companies supporting customer success- Build consensus and develop trusted advisor relationships at multiple levels: executive sponsors, decision-makers, influencers- Introduce domain product and service experts while maintaining account oversight- Lead large scale transactions and close large scale deals- Along with an assigned Solutions Engineer, build Streaming based pipeline, forecast the data in motion business, serve as focal point for the sales team, and communicate key updates- Exceed quarterly and annual goals for new software subscription, professional services and training
You Will Have:
- Minimum 7+ years of meeting or exceeding enterprise software sales targets- Fast moving start-up and use case-driven experience- Data management and/or data warehousing experience- Streaming/ETL experience- BA/BS or equivalent educational background
