[What the role is]
As a Senior Manager/ Manager, you will be deeply involved in various aspects of the Changi East development. This includes overseeing the management of contracts by the airport operator and disbursement of government funds for the works on Changi East expansion.
[What you will be working on]
In this role, you are required to navigate matters on cashflow/budgetary forecasts, budget estimates and approvals, cost data analysis, verify invoices and payment claims, review variation orders, and monitoring the construction work progress. You will also be expected to work with stakeholders such as other government agencies and the airport operator.
You will also be required to assist the Section Head in the preparation of formal reports and other duties as and when required.
[What we are looking for]
- Trained in Building / Quantity Surveying
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in quantity surveying and/or construction work including cost estimation, contract administration or project management of multi-disciplinary engineering/construction projects, preferably in government agencies, consultant QS firms or developers.
- Prior project management experience will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge and understanding of standard conditions of contracts specific to engineering and construction projects.
- Able to work independently and provide updates on the financial status of the airport developmental works at different reporting platforms.
- Ability to work well in a team, resourceful, meticulous and possess strong analytical, presentation, communication, and written skills.
