**Responsibility**
- Design and develop photo-electronic sensors and sensor solutions from concept to production according to requirement.
- Design, build, analysis, qualify optical parts and system with quantitative method for performance validation.
- Validate the product by defining test specifications and acceptance criteria while ensuring that the test setup is unambiguous and is based on a reproducible test methodology, before conducting the test.
- Generate optical system and component testing spec and testing properties, before conducting the tests.
- Develop and maintain the optical test system in the R&D laboratory environment for product development purposes.
- Provides technical support to production on optic / system related topics during production ramp-up and mass production.
- Liaise with respective internal or external experts to ensure that all products comply with all statutory and legal regulations, eg. Laser safety
- Prepare and maintain documentation for all assigned tasks.

**Requirement**
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Optics /Physics.
- Minimum 3 years experience in sensors/optical systems or related field.
- Experience in Zemax or equivalent optical simulation tool will be an added advantage.
- Good in applied physics and in solving engineering problems.
- Meticulous in technical details.
