Job Summary

Optical Systems Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Optical Systems Design Engineer to join our team. As an Optical Systems Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing precision optics for vision systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop illumination systems for various applications.
  • Perform simulations of lighting/illumination systems to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/Master's/Ph.D. degree in Physics or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in optics design and optical systems for production machines.
  • Strong knowledge of optical and mechanical design principles.
  • Ability to perform hands-on testing of optics performance using different methodologies.
  • Familiarity with optics design software such as Zemax.
  • Understanding of chromatic aberrations, MTF, and precision measurement techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
