Drives the development of product definition and solution plans to optimize the company’s products and services portfolio. Applies broad knowledge of the company’s product/service capabilities and competitive environment to identify new growth areas, new technology, and emerging product/service opportunities.

Oversees the analysis and evaluation of key market statistics and customer requirements to define product strategies and identify product opportunities to expand market share. Evaluate in-depth market analysis and lead business case for optimization of existing products/solutions alternatives and/or to create the next generation of new products. Collaborates with research and development to create products and validate early product definitions.

Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

**Working at NTT**

The Commercial Product Director forms part of the global Managed Network and Collaboration Services team. Their primary role is to oversee the commercial function of the Managed Campus Networking portfolio, with the goal of ensuring profitability for NTT Ltd and to maintain competitiveness with our clients. The role will be multi-faceted, and will include;
- Ownership of the Managed Campus Networking commercial model, including all input costs from within NTT Ltd and from third parties, as well as commercial artefacts that are used to enable and empower our sales and solutions teams.
- Works continuously with all relevant teams within the global Managed Network Services division to ensure cost models are continuously improved, and that all cost efficiencies clearly communicated and passed through to our sales and solutions teams.
- Where required, supporting sales and solution teams on high value customer opportunities and contract renewals, to ensure NTT puts forward its most competitive offer to market.
- Oversees the negotiating, structuring, and management of contractual documents that establish business relationships with vendors and partners.
- Reviewing and approving documents for protection of the company's contractual posture and adherence to company policy, including Master Supply Agreement templates and other documents that form part of a client’s contract pack.
- Advises management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions.

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Defining, creating, maintaining and continuously enhancing the cost model and rate card that underpins the Managed Campus Networking offer.
- Ensure adherence to NTT Ltd commercial policies and procedures in the compilation of managed service cost models.
- Coordinate activities amongst relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate evaluation of costs and related inclusions and exclusions.
- Interpret and enforce commercial management governance and methodologies to be used in cost model definition and structuring.
- Act as an escalation point to regional commercial management teams on commercial matters related to the Managed Campus Networking offer, providing support in structuring large, strategic opportunities that are complex and of high-value.
- Assist with the definition and manage the implementation of approval matrices and workflows for commercial approvals for complex Managed Campus opportunities.
- Measure, monitor and report on Managed Campus portfolio metrics, including items such as as-sold margin, as delivered margin, margin by product SKU, benchmark (in country) sell prices by country / region.
- Provide thought leadership to develop commercial innovation in the Managed Campus portfolio
- Ensure timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound offers.
