About Our Client
Our client is a leading manufacturer of pumping solutions and equipment, specialising in water management and cooling technologies.
Job Description
Based in Singapore or Malaysia, the Commercial Director will take charge of Sales Operations across Southeast Asia, driving revenue and profit growth by overseeing all commercial activities, including sales strategy, pricing, and execution. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead and manage all commercial operations to achieve ambitious revenue and profit targets across the region.
Develop and execute growth strategies in close collaboration with regional and country teams, focusing on maximising business opportunities and securing large-scale project deals.
Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing sales teams through effective recruitment, training, performance management, and structured work plans.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to guide strategic decision-making and enhance sales performance and operational efficiency.
Strengthen customer relationships and expand the distributor network, while providing senior management with regular performance reports and actionable commercial insights.
The Successful Applicant
MSc or BSc in Engineering or a related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in general management and sales within B2B industrial equipment, products, and solutions.
Proven expertise in the pump industry, specifically within the Southeast Asian market.
Strong knowledge of market dynamics and sales strategies tailored to the Southeast Asian business environment.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders in the region.
Outstanding leadership and management skills, with a track record of inspiring and driving high-performing teams.
