**Position**: Commercial Director

**Direct Reports**: Sales team, Marketing team, E-commerce Executive(s), and third-party agency partners

**Role Summary**:
Gryphon is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented **Commercial Director**to drive the strategic and operational leadership of its **Sales**, **Marketing**, and **E-commerce**functions. This role blends high-level commercial strategy with hands-on leadership in brand building, digital growth, and revenue generation.

As the primary commercial lead, you will steer the company’s expansion in Singapore and key export markets across Southeast and East Asia. You will craft and implement marketing campaigns, manage agency partners, drive trade and digital sales, and guide new product launches. Initially, this role will double as the marketing lead, working closely with our executive team to shape brand communications and demand generation efforts.

You will play a pivotal role in Gryphon’s next phase of growth, ensuring brand relevance, commercial excellence, and a compelling online/offline customer experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Commercial Strategy & Leadership**:

- Develop and execute integrated go-to-market strategies to meet growth targets across multiple channels and markets
- Own the commercial P&L, with a focus on revenue growth, gross margin improvement, and brand value creation
- Work closely with the Executive Director to identify and pursue new markets, partnerships, and product innovations

**2. Sales Leadership**:

- Lead and develop the sales team to achieve B2B revenue targets (retail, foodservice, export)
- Foster long-term customer relationships while identifying and securing new accounts
- Guide trade negotiations, channel development, and retail/trade marketing activations

**3. Brand & Marketing**:

- Act as interim Marketing Manager, leading brand positioning, content strategy, and campaign execution
- Oversee digital marketing, social media calendars, influencer engagement, and PR
- Manage third-party creative/media agencies to deliver high-impact brand campaigns and product launches
- Ensure consistency and creativity across all brand touchpoints (packaging, content, events)

**4. E-commerce**:

- Oversee direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels and third-party marketplaces (e.g., RedMart, Shopee, Laz Mall)
- Drive online sales growth through performance marketing, content optimization, and user experience enhancements
- Monitor KPIs across platforms to ensure ROI-driven campaigns and continuous growth

**5. Product & Innovation**:

- Collaborate on product development, packaging, and seasonal innovations aligned with consumer trends
- Manage product lifecycle decisions: launches, rebrands, and rationalization

**6. Team Development & Operations**:

- Lead a cross-functional commercial team and support their development and performance
- Build a scalable commercial structure and workflow, evolving team roles as the business grows
- Champion a performance-driven, entrepreneurial culture aligned with Gryphon’s values

**Requirements**:
**Education & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a senior Sales/Marketing role, preferably in FMCG, beverage, or lifestyle consumer goods
- Proven success in managing multi-channel sales and marketing functions, including e-commerce
- Track record of building brands and scaling commercial operations in regional markets
